Understanding the SMUD My Energy Optimizer Partner+ Program
The My Energy Optimizer Partner+ program is designed to reward SMUD customers for adopting battery storage technology. This program provides a one-time enrollment incentive of up to $10,000 per household. The incentive amount is calculated based on the battery's nameplate energy capacity at a rate of $500 per kWh, minus a 20% holdback. To qualify, you must enroll in the program within 90 days of receiving permission to operate (PTO) from SMUD and participate in the Solar and Storage Rate (SSR).
